Autosave
I thought I would make my VGF comeback with a poll.
Do you like autosave on your games? I think this mostly applies to console gamers.

It depends on how long each game takes to save the data... if it takes only 2-3 seconds I will leave autosave on, but if it takes any longer than that i just don't bother waiting... and games like burnout where it saves data every 5 seconds, i turn it off then... it just annoys
Thank **** for PS3... never again will we have to wait through "Checking memory card" a bijillion times a day... and I have always hated how it asks you which memory card slot to use... GOD DAMN IT I ONLY HAVE ONE IN THE PLAYSTATION, take a wild guess which one I want you piece of ****!

I hate it. I tried it once on Madden, and the save times are rediculous, so no.

I don't really care for the autosave feature in most games. For the PS2, it takes way too long and it interupts "momentum" of the game. Hopefully the Ps3 will be drastically improved in this area (as it has said to be and it should with all the advanced technology), then maybe I'll use it more often.

Autosave is a godsend, as far as gaming on my Xbox 360 anyway... should be the same kind of deal when the PS3 debuts.

Autosave is cool. Sometimes it does it too much but it's no big deal, it only takes like 12 seconds.

Depends on which game your planing.
Game like Madden is a *****. Way to much auto saving.
I didn't even know socom had a auto save lol.

Yea, Autosave is great on the 360, It takes about 3 seconds. On the PS2 its ok, for sports games it does take pretty long so I don't use it on my PS2. As for the PS3 I'm sure it will be fast just because it's far more advandced then the PS2.
