Question for english report

Both Otter and Red bring up good points. What I'm going to do is probably do 1 page on UnderOath's music and what Otter suggested, metaphors, skill at keyboards and synthesizers. The next page I'm going to do it on Pink Floyd and their impact on the music world. Thank you for all your help, it is much appreciated.

I think that before you made this topic you had already decided to do underoath so there. Also remember that the key to essays is to give the teacher what she wants, I think that the teacher would give an essay about Pink Floyd a better grade than one about underoath.

That doesn't make any ****ing sence. How is he supposed to know what the teacher wants? You don't want to do something that everyone else is doing. You want to do something nobody will do, that's how you get the marks.

Usually the teacher tells you what they want. Not word by word, but enough to guide you in the right direction. It's not like she/he would say "Write about music!"

Teachers give things called 'criteria' that tells a student what to do (ie. what the teacher wants).

ok let's go with this, PeeWee's post was very random and unneeded. If I had already decided to do it on UnderOath than would I have made this post, don't think so..... I got my paper back today and it's a 97%, half on UnderOath, half on Pink Floyd....

Pink Floyd
The Beatles ( Even Though I hate the Beatles )
The Rolling Stones
The Sex Pistols
The Ramones

Depending on the age of your teacher, he might not be able to identify with some of the bands you have mentioned on your poll. And even though some of the bands on your list maybe excellent in your eyes. but.they haven't struck a chord ( so to Speak ) in the History of Music. I wouldn't go anymore current than Nirvana, but with the bands I mentioned above there's just so many resources you can use to write an excellent paper.

I gotta agree with Red here, Pink Floyd and The Beatles, maybe ACDC would be good to write about because it would be easy.

In my opinion, I would go with a revolutionary band because there is heaps of information around and they have had a large impact. In the end, its your choice so do what you like.

Thats an awsome english essay. I could go on for pages about the subject of music.

Pick a band of your interest not ours. Pick what you like to listen to. Listen to that bands songs while your write the paper to get ideas flowing.

He already did it 1/2 on uo and 1/2 on pink floyd, got a 97%.
