Which aspect of the PS3 are you most eagerly anticipating?
The PS3 and all of it's accompanying technology will come together to make an almight machine, but which result of this gaming beast being unleashed are you looking forward to the most? Is it the awesome graphics, the Intelligence in AI no longer being a joke, the enhanced ability to handle network games (less loss of frame rate due to lots of activity, more players possible) or the possibility of games being longer due to bigger and more numerous levels being able to be crammed onto the bluray disk?
For me it is the massive processing power and the benefits to online gaming that make the PS3 so enticing... I have never been a fussy guy with graphics and no matter how long they stretch out the game and make it tougher will superior AI, it will end and lose it's replayability... whereas an online game that doesn't chug like the orient express when stuff starts happening en masse, and can hold enough players to pit hundreds against each other, sounds like one hell of a sweet deal to me

I'm most looking forward to the AI. I believe that it will give every game a better playing experiance.(SP) The single player on every game will be better and Socom single player might even be interesting

I want the combo of the BD player and more processing power. That means we can have much more **** in games, and the power to use it. I mean, we have enough room now on the disc to have a HIGH DEF city the size of SAN ANDREAS, and a lot of room to spare.
I will cream myself when playing BLACK 2. I'm going to have to rent a 1080p 46" tv to play that baby. Not to mention METAL FRIGGIN GEAR SOLID 4!!!!!

I don't plan on getting a PS3 right away, if at all, but I'd still like to see how the setup will be for online gaming..like what it looks like (it's interface) how it will work (bad servers? good servers? buggy?), just stuff like that.

I just want to see what SONY is doing with the online aspect of their system. PS2's was ok when it first came out, but compared to what XBOX did, they are far behind. I'd like to see something like XBOX Live, but for SONY.

The problem is, for me at least, that the console isn't going to define any of those features. It's all up to the game developers and artists to make any of that true.
Surely they will, but that's beside the point. The point for me is that the PS3 isn't bringing much new to the table besides raw power - something that you can technically get from anywhere. I don't see any particularly interesting features coming from Sony, and I'm really disappointed with their projected price scheme.
All that aside, I think all of what you listed is exciting - better graphics are obvious; enhanced AI is interesting from a programming point of view: modeling complex behavior is an extremely difficult feat in and of itself; increased network abilities: if the programmers and make good of the new power, good for them... more network stuff is always enjoyable; and of course added content: who dislikes added content?

The GRAPHICS! I'd like to see their extreme high-tech specs, especially the graphics.

Honestly, I had really high hopes for the PS3 about 6 months ago.
Now, as we get closer to launch and see more and more footage of the machine and the launch titles, I am less and less sure that I want to buy one.
I'm thinkin' Sony might have a loser on its hands this time.

i'm hoping for better AI because i'm tired of the enemy just standing there while i run right past him then he ties his shoes or complains about bad soup.
