Just like almost everyone, I won't be able to afford one right away. I too also want a better TV than my 20" one so I can get the full appreciation of the badass graphics that will soon come my way. Even at $450 that is a sh*tload of a budget I'd have to ensue to afford it.
I have never been disappointed in Sony when it comes to the Playstation consoles, much less thier other stuff like TV, Surround Sound systems, etc.
There has always been delays of any consoles. When they 1st even talk about a new console they are working on, they have a projected release date that usually changes as the system comes along. So why should I complain?
What I am most looking forward to for the PS3 is better single player games. All that includes longer games, awesome graphics, more options for games. I love online games as much as anybody but I can't play 50 different online games. I just don't have that much freetime.

I would put "all of the above" but there isn't an option for that. I don't mind how good or bad the graphics are though. As long as the games are solid, then I could care less.

Personally speaking, I would. Graphics are second to gameplay, in my world. I'd much rather play a game that was more fun to play and looked a bit "ugly" - than a game that looked awesome, and played like garbage.
Take SOCOM 3 for example... looks slightly better than SOCOM 2, yet SOCOM 2 is a better gameplay experience.

Exactly. Think of it as this:
Great gameplay with bad graphics.
Or
Terrible gameplay with awesome graphics.
People play games for how fun they are...not just because they look pretty.

Since I almost only play online (and almost only Socom at that), I'm looking forward to the new community online. Especially since it will be free :)
