I'm just wondering what your opinion on the matter is... Persoanlly I think they simply shouldn't be put into any future socom games at all... before S3 I thought the GLs would fit in fine because they would weigh you down, make your gun shoot with terrible accuracy and make it so that you can't really carry any items of much use

But then I played S3, and well... an AK47+GL36 with 6 rounds... doesn't make you go too slow if you don't take any items or a heavy pistol, you don't need actually need the AK so it shooting walleyed doesn't matter and you don't need any items because the GL alone is a killing machine

They just get banned, people get pissed off when a new guy or a plonker uses one and if everyone uses one to make it even the game is simply not fun... so despite their omission sort of wounding the realism of the game (one in four brit/american soldiers carry a grenade launcher nowadays) I think they should not be there

Nobody uses them except people who can't win gunfights. Sorry, but it's the truth. There's are reasons for them to be in, but people don't use them for that, they just wh0re it all game and it's stupid.

I only use 203 smokes to **** around and kill people with those, but otherwise they're worthless IMO.

I think that they should put those in instead of that crappy RPG. I dont use GL's in firefights because I can win those but against campers they are great. The anticamping weapon.

If Zipper really paid close attention to what their customers do/say, they would see that 203's are a failure and always will be. In every room (well almost every room) they are turned off, or you get voted if you use one. About 91% of the Socom community hates them and people who use them, and the last time I checked, 91% was WAY over the majority.

I personally think that they should be removed, or changed so drastically that they would rarely be used. The only ranged explosives they should keep are the rockets. They're just so fun to run with and they aren't too good.

I don't really use LRE's and generally dislike people who do. I rarely see them anyhow because those who do usually get voted and they are turned off in wars so I don't see the problem in keeping them. They aren't really used that much but still, it's fun every now and again to use in a respawn or something.

I wouldn't mind them leaving them in. Sometimes it's fun to play in a "anything goes" room. But normally I don't use them. If they do keep them, cut down on the number of rounds, to three. But I'd also love to see them put a tear gas and a canister(big shot gun round) in.
