Chimaira is a really good metal band.
Which brings me to my next point. You left out one of the most popular rock genres, metal. It's much more popular than over half of the genres in this poll.
I voted Other for Metal.

I voted Alternative, though I like almost all kinds of music, including all kinds of rock. I just don't like screaming, I like actually having talent.

Nothing will ever compare to classic rock. AC/DC, Zeppelin, Sabbath, Motorhead, that is where the good music is at. Some Hardcore rock such as Metallica is great as well but I much more prefer classic rock even though Metallica is pretty old.

I have to go with classic. But I do like some of the new stuff. AC/DC, Guns & Roses, ZZ Top, etc.

I like classic as well, but I am mostly about metal. I like Lynyrd Skynrd, they are okay, also a little Zeppelin.

Yeah I feel the same way, there are some good new bands but they dont compare to the classics.
