I'm the same way, it's just better in my opinion. The first think I notice is personality. I mean, it's easy to say "Damn that girl is fine!", but it's another thing to say "Wow, she's got a great personality." I can tell you now my girlfriend isn't the hottest little thing in the world, and I hate to say that. She is very cute, but she has the best personality I've ever seen. Personality is always at the top of my list.

Amen to that brother... the only time in my adult life that I have just wanted to be with a woman about whom I knew nothing except she looked cute was when watching a renault advert and this french girl squeezes her bottom lip between her teeth at the end... adorable

Apart from that I don't really give a feck about looks... on a very good day I would aim to spend 3 to 4 hours *insert regional slang*ing... factor in 8 hours sleeping, we have a 3-4 to 1 ratio of time spent with a woman, and the larger chunk doesn't involve sex... so naturally I want a hell of a personality to pass the time and to love... and intelligence won't go amiss either because when my dumb self gets chucked out of the army I will be between 1 and 3 years without a job while finishing degree and going to teaching college, and an intelligent woman will keep the money a flowin'

So when out and about, knowing nothing of the women around me, I look for a smile (no sense in approaching someone when they in a bad mood) and a reasonable, as in not overweight, figure... everything else either doesn't matter or is a bonus... woman permtting I will spend a while with her and determine whether she meets personality and intelligence standards, and dump her if she is hopeless... otherwise I keep my hands on her
