Bat Country and Unholy Confessions eh? I prefer Beast & The Harlot and I Won't See You Tonight (part 2), but at least you like songs from them.

You think they're amazing but you only like 2 of their songs. Can't really be spelled out more than that.
Once upon a time.... Pat likes men, and they lived happily ever after. The end.

I know it's kind of late in asking this, but who has the album, is it any good or was it all hype? Tell me, I have to wait till Christmas.

Well, Has anyone seen them live yet on their current tour? I was going to go to the one in Charlotte but couldn't make the trip.

Wow, New album was a bummer. Some good songs but the rest blew.

    Good ones.

Avenged Sevenfold just released their newest single "Nightmare" off their new album with the same title. The song is great, much of the same style of their last album. They got Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy to fill in for The Rev on the entire album (I think the rev was able to record one song before he tragically passed) and for their upcoming summer tour. You can hear the preview off of iTunes.

The new album is freaking insane. There's a few that are really worth mentioning.

Fiction- This song was written by the Rev. The message of the song is that of The Rev telling his loved ones to continue to move on once he's gone. He died three days later due to accidental drug overdose. The Rev does sing on it and it's really eerie to listen to him sing and what he's singing about. The song doesn't have any guitars. Just a piano, bass, and drums and vocals.

God Hates Us- This one of the few songs where it's mostly screaming. For those of you who loved Waking the Fallen, You'll love this song. Just kicks ass, in a major way.

Buried Alive- This song is amazing. Starts out with just a guitar on a clean channel, and just a slow melody through out the 1st and 2nd verse. The chorus has distortion guitars with the drums just banging away. Has an amazing solo. The 3rd verse has a pure old school Metallica feel to it. Definitely worth checking out.

So far, The album has been released to mainly positive reviews. I couldn't agree more with the reviews I've read. This is by far their best album yet.

For those of you who don't know, Mike Portnoy, drummer of Dream Theater, filled in for the Rev on drums during the recording process. He was The Rev's idol and just drummed out the notes The Rev wrote before he died.

    Check this album out.
