iPOD vs. other MP3

well you know Apple is loving the iPOD sales. In my opinion it's the only thing keeping them alive. Schools who used to get Mac's are now switching to computers like Dell.

I almost forgot to add in my post. Once I get a car, I'll be switching to CDs for the rest of my days. I'll have 3 of them at all times:

• All rap mix (burnt from my coputer and updated when obsolete)
• All rock mix (burnt from my computer and updated when obsolete)
• Billy Joel: Greatest Hits (That double disc essiental collection one. There's only like 2 big hits missing, but I can deal.)

So yeah. As long as I don't have wheels, I'm sticking to my PSP.

iPod. They're pretty decent. In retrospect(of my anti-iPod ways), it's a ***** buying CDs and I'm lazy. Much easier to switch than CDs while walking(which is my primary mode of transportation, except perhaps the train).

I have an Ipod. It is great. I don't have the small one though, I got the original, the fatty lol.

i got the ipod shuffle and it holds about 120 songs and when ever i use it i listen to about only 50 of them and right now i wish i didnt waste my money on buying it, i wish i would have gotten a cheaper mp3 player.

Don't know what you're talking about, but most colleges for arts have macs because macs>PCs at all types of art, editing, all that stuff. Big whoop, they can't play games, no reason for so many people to hate macs. I have a mac and I'm on it more than any other computer.
Also it's not like Apple is poor because compared to companies like Dell, they don't get as much money. They still make a lot of money, it's just not as much as others.

The iPod shuffle like yours only costs $70... I dont know what you could get for much cheaper than that.

iPod all the way... my Nano is one of my favorite gadgets since getting one for my birthday/Christmas this past year.
