Mainstream rap= Centered around Sex, Drugs, Money, all of that ****.

BTW: Christian Rap is actually pretty good.

Wow, as soon as I open this topic this is the first thing I see. You people need to stop judging 50 Cent off of an album. I don't like 50 as much anymore but all this hate he is getting is annoyin. You people hate on people that succeed. He's gettin his money while your on here complaining about his selection of songs even though you've probably only listened to those songs. 50 is one of the most versatile mainstream rappers right now, the guy can rap about anything and thats why I listen to his music because it helps me write.

By the way rap=rhythm and poetry. You guys need to stop judging rap by a few artist. The real reason people hate rap is because they dont like to see minorities succeed. When rock n roll was about sex drugs and money nobody complained.

All music is the same, they are just performed differently. I can find a heavy metal song now that is similar to a rap song. I can find a country song that is similar to R&B. Music is music, each form of music has the same topics(sex,drugs,money,violence,love,politics and all that) but for some reason rap draws the most hate, Why?

If you ask me its because America doesn't want to see minorities succeed in life and make the right choices. I mean damn, I heard someone the other day say LeBron James is a greedy like every other black person because of that contract he signed. It's called business, when white people do it its a big problem.

And I agree with +Evan, but music is unoriginal now because its been done for so long, theres not that much to talk about considering everything has been done.
