Yea I know what you mean. They didnt even show the opening ceremony of the World Cup. I would watch the spanish channel like half the game because they have the pregame stuff plus the commentators are not so stupid and know what theyre talking about unlike the espn guys lol

U.S. lost to the Czech Republic 0-3...

So much for them being the second best team this year, as they were being advertised.

Second best team? Wow, those American announcers need to tell the truth. They shouldn't get people's hopes up as everyone else not in the United States knows that it is a HUGE longshot for the United States to even get out of their group now. They were slaughtered by the Czech Republic and had to have the humiliation of having the largest goal deficit in the World Cup so far. At least they won't have to suffer much longer. And yes, I did see that painting. I was surprised by this as they usually just exchange some little flags at the start.

I didnt really watch any World Cup games today. I did watch about 30 minutes total of the USA game and basically, I dont think the USA will get anywhere this time around. My step Dad saw online that the USA was ranked 5th in the World Cup and England is ranked 10th which I think is disgraceful. I dont care how bad some people think England might be but they are certainly better than the USA, the USA does not deserve 5th from what I saw today and England doesnt deserve 10th from what I saw on Saturday.

Living in the USA I have come to realise that the way teams are looked upon is wrong. Thats all I will say.

Did Zipper create the World Cup ranking system too?

England definately deserves a better rating than the US. But, as we know with the SOCOM ratings, the FIFA ratings are flawed and have been acknowledged as flawed by FIFA itself which is the reason they are going to be changed. The US will probably not advance as Italy looked in top form today. They will probably even have a hard time against Ghana which has Essien who is better than anybody the US has in its "arsenal" as some of the commentators were saying.

I agree.

The best case for the US would have been for Italy and Ghana to tie. Didn't happen.
I saw the US team doing stuff that I got yelled at for doing in the 8th grade!!!
They're one touch was almost non-existant and constantly had 3 guys around the ball. 2 and 3 touch passes in the middle of traffic!! pretty embarrasing performance.

I also loved how almost all the headers were won by the Czech Republic and yet the US kept trying to cross it.......pathetic coaching by Arena.
