The Germany Italy game was a good game. Italy won it fairly.
Gotta give it to Germany too, they weren't supposed to make it this far...
Italy scores a beautiful goal in the 119th minute and then just hammers in one more for good measure in stoppage time.
The final will be Italy v. France

What I find somewhat funny is that I actually stopped watching the Germany vs. Italy game because of the referee.
I thought he did such a horrible job that after about 40 minutes*, I just tuned out and stopped watching the game. My problem with the ref wasn't him being biased or anything, it was that he called all the wrong calls for both teams. It was really a poor performance in my book.
As for the other reason I stopped watching. Neither team was playing very impressingly if you ask me. All the players were slipping and falling all over the place, and the teamwork could have looked a lot nicer. There wasn't a single play in the entire game that I liked.
The France vs. Portugal game was a lot more "action packed", and I'm glad to see France making it to the finals. I surely hope they win, because I think they deserve it more than Italy (comparing the performances of the last few games). I've said it before and I'll say it again, Zidane is a beast and Henry's pretty damn good as a 'side-kick'.
* I'll admit that I tuned back in to see the score from time to time, and was ever more disappointed by the lack of teamwork for both sides. There were a lot of chances but neither team really pulled anything out. I did see the two goals at the end, and the first was pure luck (in my opinion), and the second you can tell the German team already gave up. All the German's were trying offense to get a goal in the last minute, when Italy got the ball back they knew they didn't have time to score and just didn't try to stop Italy. I didn't think the second goal from Italy was particularly exciting, really... Like I said, it was apparent that the only one trying to stop it really was Lehmann (the goalie).
Go France!
