Xbox Live vs. PlayStation online

Well. X-box live u have to pay for! That irritates me. I wish there was no cost or it was atleast cheaper.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed the PS online is beating XBL.

XBL is the best online service out to date, and absolutely KILLS PSO.

Lets see..

MUCH BETTER community
Better customer support
Very organized
Amazing friends list(Can see what game they are playing, can see if it is joinable, and can see it no matter what game your playing)
More options, much...much..more options
Your own personal gamercard.

Cost money? Pfft, if you think 50 a YEAR is alot, you need help.

I'm sorry, but if you think PSO is better than XBL, you should be slapped, very, very hard.

It's not that bad of a price, and you get what you pay for. Great setup, very neat and tighty, oh ya, and if there's a glitch, they don't sit around and listen to feedback for a ****ing year, they do something about it.

Paying 50 bucks a YEAR = Great support, Up-dates ALL the time(and they actually amount to stuff), they address issues when people find them.

If you think 50 bucks a year is bad, again, you're ****ing stupid. I believe I read somewhere that it amounts to less than a dollar a day.

They 50 bucks you pay to play XBL actually enhances your game experience. Free doesn't. The 50 bucks you pay to play XBL not only covers your charge to play, but for customer support and anything else you need.

Plain and simple, XBL > PS online.

And last but not least, stop saying pso is better becase it's free. Come with valid evidence of why pso is better than XBL, something besides "it's free".

After all, you get what you pay for. PSO = you pay for nothing, so you get nothing in return. XBL = you pay for everything, so you get everyhing in return.

There's an old saying that holds very true in life: "You get what you pay for."

Xbox Live's annual subscription equates to $4.16 per month. If you think that is unfair or too high, then you need your head checked.

As others have said, Xbox Live's feature list is extensive and indepth beyond compare. Everything you could think of wanting (except porn in the marketplace) is flawlessly cared for. What's even better is that it all works.

Regardless of whatever Sony has planned down the road for Playstation Online, you will always be better off with Xbox Live because of the simple fact that you are paying for it. Because you have a subscription service with them, Microsoft has a legal obligation to maintain the service and network.

It's nothing less than the truth. I was one of the "OMFG its free so tis bet3r!" people not too long ago. But then I finally got the pleasure of experiencing XBL and it opened my eyes. I thought everything I was experiencing while playing PS online was just a common thing that everyone(playstation, xbox, computer, ect..) goes through, but I was very wrong.

It's something like having a warranty IMO. When you pay for a warranty, you have more and better solutions to your problems, when you don't have a warranty, you're pretty much ****ed.

PSO = No warranty...

XBL = Lifetime warranty.

This just follows the saying "you get what you pay for". It's a no brainer, Xbox Lives kills PS online. I don't even have an Xbox and I'll agree with that.
