Ps2 is free, but they really dont keep on the servers as well as Xbox does wit htheir servers (wit hthe exception of a few games). Xbox offers more features and you can customize a lot mor ethings the compared to Ps2. Right now Xbox live probably owns Ps2, but when Ps3 comes out, the true battle should begin on which one is better!

I like the way Xbox works with it's online games. It is fast and their is not much lag if you have a good connection. $5 a month....nothin. Basically the same thing as computer. You pay for your internet don't you? About $40 a month for my DSL.

You're getting excited for Sony keeping their same (free & garbage like) servers? Wow... you must be easily amused.

As for the vote... only time will tell which service will be better.

And in the meantime... I'll be saving up for a next-gen console.

Like Negative said, without paying for the online servers, it means we are stuck with the garbage servers that we have now. I mean why would sony make an awesome online community with great features, and give it to thousands of people for free. They wont. The servers arent going to be as good, as well as all the features, and the overall experience if there is not pay to play in my opinion.

so Xbix Live is free just get the Sliver Membership and how is PS2 online better they do nuting to fix the online they dont banned cheaters u have to go buy OPM to get new maps for SOCOM 2 on Xbox Live u can get demos rite off the Xbox Live no one play PS2 online the most play game is SOCM 3 will 20,000 people Xbox Live most play game is 150,000 and thats at 7p.m. and at 4 a.m. (less play time) is abot 90,000 just face it ps2 pr ps3 online be better then Xbox Live if u get a new game u have to make a new name how gay if that and u also lose your friends list at least i can go play HALO 2 and see if my friends are playing Call of Duty 2 or any other game for Xbox Live

Actually i think you are mistaken...with a new console and combating microsoft they have to make servers and a service worthy of competition because its the future of gaming...Sony has talked alot about the future of gaming and online, so i am actually pretty confident that they will have a very good service and servers to support the ps3 and its games.

Scary thing is, they actually haven't said much (if anything at all, without it sounding like a Japanese haiku) about the PS3's online "experience"... kinda scary, if you ask me.

Without paying for a Sony "online service" it will never (let me say again... NEVER) be a "very good service".

I take it that you must have never had to deal with Sony's customer service department? I've met corpses that have a greater sense of urgency...




...but then again, they could totally come out and "wow" even the most jaded of gamers... like myself.

if SOCOM 3 was for Xbox the online will some much better there will be downloads for new maps and vehicles rite now the cheaters will be banned and the funny thing is Microsoft was talking to Zipper about publisher and develop a game for Xbox 360 www.xbox.com its in the "news" read it if you dont think so or if you have OXM its in there to

www.xbox.com the real next-gen and yes Xbox Live is free it call Sliver Membership and did you know that on a 480ip t.v. (basic t.v.) Xbox 360 how better graphics then PS3 on a 480ip t.v. so if you dont have a HD T.V. your PS3 graphics not going to look like how PS3 shows off there graphics XBOX 360 only if PS3 will show u newbs how it looks on a basic t.v.......
