Xbox Live vs. PlayStation online

Halo is pretty much the only game worth playing on xbox live.

So, why PAY for a POS online system like that when PS2 online has GREAT organization, choose which rooms, with a great filtering system too, nice clan systems usually and friend lists. You get however many accounts you feel like. There is lag, but not always. There are glitchers, but not always.


So, for basically the same thing, except far better organization and accounts and PRICE (free), I'd choose PS2 online.

u kinding me for $50 a year u get downloads for ever game more then 3 downloads a year, they banned cheaters unlike SOCOM 3 dose, theres more people on Xbox Live, and theres no autoplay i dont know what game your talking about the has that, and its lag free also u can have Xbox Sliver membership its free and u can make tons of names with Sliver membership so what can u say about the truth??

is it even worth having this poll? i mean your saying having this on a site, thats about a video game, on the ps2, kinda an unfair advantage no?

but anyway, id choose xbox live over ps2 online anyday, its so much better, so what if you have to pay?(i have money so i dont care ) its so much more cusomzible, you can have voice chat when your playing single player on one game,or even when you and a friend are playing different games, even if one is watching a dvd, and one is playing music, also i like the open mics, tho u get the occasional kid whos yelling as his mom for chocolate milk, but you just ask him for his balls to drop then vote him and give him bad feedback so he gets voted in other rooms too

well halo 1 was the only reason i got the first xbox... that piece of **** excuse for a system, but the 360 is so much better it actually has games! kinda like the ones u posted, most of were launch releases

I hate the XBOX. Just my personal opinion. The only games halfway decent were Halo and Halo 2 (and in my opinion they are not the greatest).

I've been with Sony, and I'll stay with Sony.

Ummm, with my XBL experience.. I had this: (9 months)
2 downloads that were map packs, however they didn't come with the 50
dollars, they were about 8 bucks each, which was good.
Matchmaking was horrible, which is the autoplay he was talking about. Why? Because of cheaters. Halo 2 you FINALLY get up to that level 32, and then people are afraid to play because of "modders". Few were banned, most came back. Hell all you need to cheat is a friggin action replay, they couldn't even block that!?! When I finally got my high levels, I just went straight back down.
Bad lag. You cannot say x-box live is lagless. I've had it to the point where everyone in the game is skipping everywhere. It may happen few times, but it as there. The only way to win was to get the flags because you couldn't kill eachother.

You can't say the system is perfect. I agree with you that Live owns PS2 online. But the games on the other hand... Ghost Recon 2 is a horrible game for XBox, I don't know about the new one though. Halo 2 was great, but you couldn't always play with your friends, and if you did it was in a not-so-fun unranked room, or "Custom Game". Madden '06 was great, but guess what? PS2 has it.

Well the online system on PS3 will probably be superior to the Xbox 360 software as it's core design will not be so old... I vote playstation
