Xbox Live vs. PlayStation online

xbox live seems to be more of an inconvenience than anything.

Playstation Online because it has a lot of options, the setting are very simple. There is no pay.

So, for basically the same thing, except far better organization and accounts and PRICE (free), I'd choose PS2 online.

umm no? You can make parties, and then go into matchmaking and get matched up with enemies the same rank as you.. You can make custom games with your friends, send party invites, game invites, and messages from game to game. One account=every game. You can communicate through different games and such. Yes you have to pay, but it is overall a better service then ps2 online. PS2 is awesome online! But XBL beats it. Obviously PS2 is going to win the poll because you asked the question in a forum about a ps2 game. Ask it in a XBox forum, you get the opposite answer. Both are good, once again, but XBL has many more features. Don't forget feedback, which helps. When a little kid screams at you and curses you out, leave him feedback for screaming or cursing/lewdness and he can be suspended. Feedbacks are checked every Friday. Feedback=less ****-talkers, cheaters, etc. Don't flame me for this post, this is my opinion.

So, you can't just join any room, you have to be invited, again, barely any freedom. XBL is all these annoying-*** rich 13 year old kids playing their [c]Rap into the mic, it's VERY annoying.

Actually you can join the rooms you want, so long as your friend is in their and it's not set to "closed" or "invite only"

That's the other thing I like better about XBL

Say you're off playing Tom Clancy....I'm playing Halo 2 or MVP....Shoot someone a little voicemail invite thingy and all you have to do is switch disks and done....I love how it shows you what people are doing with their Xbox, even if their not online

You're paying $5 a month for QUALITY service

Not to mention the friends list system is THAT MUCH BETTER than that of the PS2

well im a sony fan boy and hate the c0ckbox but i dont hate it and have nothing to back me up...
what i think is what xbox has is mostly Halo and tom clancy's games they are grreat on xbox but thats about it ps2 has a HUGE library of games and
just easer to get online (+ you get to have more then 1 name)
Xbox live is more into chat and movies,lights, color, its too much of everything. but ps2 is mosty just games no more then that it can play moves too but thats about it no super duper lights and all that good stuff just gameplay (and pleace dont say "well XBOX has better graphics" beacues we all now it does it came out after ps2 so it sould have better graphics buts thats about it
ps2= better gameplay bigger game library, ect
Xbox= better chat,firends lights, whatnot, and graphics

for the Nex-gen stuff (c0ckbox360 and PS3!) xbox looks like they are going to go still into better chat system and not gameplay mostly like an ALL-Around system then a gamesystem
PS3 is trying to get better at gameplay,graphics, trying to stay and "game machine" nothing fancy

but from i hear from friends what i know is
PS1-2-3= soo many good games with great gameplay.
Xbox-360= better stuff inside (like ram,vid card,etc...) but your controled by microsoft lol its like they take your soul or something lol.

Umm some people just like xbox becuse of its fancy display, but when it comes down to it more people would chose to save their money and get a better console. Ohh yeah if your smart and know where to go you don't have to pay for it, not that it matters. There will always be more people on PS2 online than XBOX online.

This is kinda off topic but I think more people are on X-box live. On Halo alone, there are 300,000 people on a day.
