Hi im a new member obviously i have the slimline ps2. i have been hearing that there are problems with the slim ps2 and over heating has anybody hear have that problem and is there any need to buy an inter cooler. Also I am looking to get online play for it but I dont have the start up disc. please can someone give me some directions on how to install it without the start up disc?

I personally never had a problem with my slimline PS2 overheating in the time I had it, which was quite the long time.

As far as getting online, that isn't really much to it. Most PS2 online capable games have a Network Utility option when you go to sign online, so you can use that to make all of your network setting and it will save it to your memory card. I know for a fact that all of the SOCOM PS2 titles have this utility.

thank you but how much memory does that take on the memory card because I have limited space.
