I suppose if you really wanted to see what Qore had to offer, then this would be a welcomed invite.
However, I really don't care to see whats in Qore, so I'm just going to leave the beta invite alone. Wait for the final release, and complain about how it sucks and how we waited so long for "This" to come out.

Why complain if you don't know if it will suck, i know it won't suck, i mean its a community thing not a game so i doubt its going to be "fun", it will be mostly for meeting people, clan partys and blah blah blah, but it will add some features that we have all wanted in the past so i won't complain if it isn't that good, but the fact that we are going to get it is good enough for me so idc.

Actually Mr. Legend, I was poking fun at the fact people will complain about it, no matter how good the final release is. There will ALWAYS be someone who will complain, and I was poking fun at those people. I should have put the [/sarcasm] brackets, but I forgot too.
this looks like a watered down (no sex) version of second life. i wasn't enthused by second life (even with the stupid virtual sex) so i can't really get into the idea of "home".
i wish sony would put all this time and effort into a better online network instead of all this useless window dressing and parade tickertape.

I noticed that the Resistance 2 beta was acting all sorts of wonky, too.
So yeah... a better online network would get my vote.
I totally agree, I think Sony could make their network much better than it is now. They could beat Microsoft's buttocks if they got online running extremely smoothly, more so because they do not charge to use it.

It's going to take a lot of work on Sony's part for it to be a better network than Xbox Live... the way I see it, they're now a few years behind them, in terms of online "innovation". I've said it all along... they should have made it more like Xbox Live by charging for their online service. At least then, they would be taken more seriously than they are right now.

Totally agreed, I never said it would be easy, but I'm sure they could do it. Its just, they don't want to put the time and effort into it. It's not a horrid service, but it's not nearly as great at XBL.
As an update to the PLAYSTATION(R)3 News email sent on Friday,
October 24th, the special invitation to PlayStation(R)Home's closed
beta is available only to Qore annual subscribers who purchased
subscriptions by 10/29. Qore Episode 06 purchasers will not be
eligible for the special PlayStation(R)Home beta invitation at
this time.
Also you guys have to remember sony doesn't just make there money from Ps3 they sell so much stuff and earn a lot..
Then with this bit of information, their online service shouldn't be trailing behind Xbox Live, in terms of quality. But it still does... after all these years.
Home will not be in Qore 5, it will be in Qore 6, and will only be available to those who bought the annual subscription meaning if you bought Qore 6 by it self, YOU WILL "NOT" GET IT.
Oh and if you purchased a annual subscription after "October 29th" then you won't receive a entry into the beta.
