I dont agree with that at all. PS3 is still the best console. It is sold just like hotcakes. People are enjoying the PS3 in 2007 a lot. I dont believe that report.

You're also one of the people who believe that we didn't really land on the moon...
Granted, the PS3 didn't "fail" by any stretch... but it obviously didn't sell nearly as much as Sony had hoped. Why, you ask? Because the complete and utter lack of stellar games for their new system... Sony could have easily doubled their console's sales if they had games like Uncharted or Ratchet and Clank available when the PS3 launched.
The funniest thing about that article is the comments. People get so serious about nothing, and fire off idiotic comments left and write, insulting things like sexual orientation (which I've done my fair share of with friends, but there's no respect left these days.)
This 360 fan boy in my physics class is bent on the fact that the PS3 had a "recall" of some sort. He said to me, that the 360 is way better than the PS3, Well, I've played both systems and in my honest opinion, PS3 is better by far. Don't get me wrong, the 360 is a great system, but the fact that you have to pay for online play, and then run the risk of your system breaking down and not being able to have full use of your live membership just completely draws me away from the 360. The line up for PS3 just has me quivering with excitement. I'm glad I went on the PS3 path, I love the PS3 and all of the capabilities of it.

PS3.....Failed? You've got to be kidding me. Does the person who wrote that article have any idea of how much sales have gone up ever since the price of the PS3 dropped? Don't get me wrong, the PS3 did have a bit of a rocky start as soon as it was launcged along with the Wii.
I think it's pretty fanboyish, not to mention childish to bash a system. They're all fun. I played Wii Sports yesterday, and has a blast. Trust me, year 2008 will be a VERY sucsessful year for Sony and it's PS3, as the price will continue to drop. It might even outsell the Wii.
Oh yes. I'm still waiting the PS3 to drop their price because I'm a cheap bastard. I hope Sony will do their best to give the more exclusive game as possible.

I'll probably be getting a PS3..haven't gotten it yet because of the price, but I'm thinking of using some christmas money for it, and some of my tax return when I get it.

The PS3 did not "fail", but it didn't do that great. I can understand people who love the system don't want to believe anything negative about it. Thankfully the head hochos for Sony were able to admit it which is why the price has dropped, & they are starting to whip it into shape.
For your health and safety, I don't know if I would hold my breath on it outselling the Wii... not in the entire year of 2008, anyway.
I didn't say it might outsell the Wii in year 2008 to be exact. I said if it gets better over time it might, and IMO most likely will with all the new games comming out such as Drake's Uncharted Fortunes, Rachet & Clank: Future Tools Of Destruction, and GTA 4.

Well of course Sony was going to have a sales hike, you always sell more when you lower prices. It's in no way childish to bash a system. Bashing it usually comes from sharing an opinion, which we all do. No, it will not outsell the Wii...

2 of the 3 games you've mentioned have already been releasd and GTA 4 is multi-platform.
