Issue with memory card

I've been able to save everything but the dynasty file. It does the same thing in both slots, and it's only this memory card. So, the problem obviously lies within the card.

I recently reformated the card because I was getting the same error with Hitman Blood Money, but I no longer get that error.

The card is a red transparent MagicGate if it makes a difference. PlayStation 2.

Thoughts?
