What do you people think of the new Wii U. Me I think it is an awesome system, one of the best systems out there right now. GameInformer Magazine gave the system an overall grade of B. I would gladly give it an A. I think I was Nintendo's best creations. What do ya'll think of it?

I haven't played it but I think Nintendo has been really smart and innovative. I'm not interested enough in it to buy it now but once the price comes down I'll pick one up.
I'm always looking to buy games for new and old consoles. If you have one, two, or an entire collection to sell send me a PM.

I like the look of it; I think it's a really cool idea. Unfortunately, it's way too expensive and doesn't have enough games yet. When both of those things are put right I'll be on board.

    Cheers Raavyn for the sig!

Yeah along with me, a whole lot of people think the price is outrageous. They say that there not lowering the price anytime soon. So I don't know what the people are going to do. But if you don't want to spend a lot of money just get the White version.

If they just painted the white system black then I would buy one. But I have a black TV, and sitting underneath it I have a black PS3, black 360, black TiVo box, black blu ray player and even a black Wii. I'm not sticking a white anything under there.

    Cheers Raavyn for the sig!

I had no interest at all in this system...

With the Wii I loved wii sports like everyone else... But I also loved Mario Kart.

but something about this system just does not sit well with me... It doesn't interest me.

Also, maybe using a game thats already out and loved on the other consoles to promote your new console isn't a great idea...

Great system that has huge potential. I really wish they would have pushed this console sooner; like say in late 2010. It would have been better received due to the now 8th generation systems looming. The 1st party games for the Wii U are what is/will sell this system, as 3rd party support will be limited if not barren. I am sad to hear both EA and bioware do not plan on continuing support. The Wii U is a powerful albeit late console that deserves recognition for the fact Nintendo has provided us; with exception to the wii's console hardware, a staple of excellent gaming experiences and legendary status with games like Zelda, Mario, and Metroid.

The error that Nintendo made was with the wii and it's almost identical gamecube innards. This destroyed their reputation with 3rd party developers because of poor sales. Nintendo reps/designers thought graphics weren't everything....well they were wrong when ports materialized the truth, and the system motion controller innovation could not hold steam when the game looked like a blurred mess graphically speaking.

"Who's gonna buy a game for the wii when they could get a version for the xbox/ps3 and it would perform far better?"

The xbox 1/ps4 vs Wii u is the same scenario.

Nintendo fans will/have still flocked, but Nintendo needs to grab the other niche market and RAM full steam ahead rather than stand still or LAG behind.

It might just be me getting old or something......but IT HAS A ******G TOUCHPAD FOR A CONTROLLER!!!! I mean, I didn't have that **** when I was a kid! I don't even think my mind could have comprehended that if you told me back in the 90's that we were gonna be able to be using touch screens in the 2010's! My mind would have been ******g blown!!!!

It's a cool idea, but the lack of games killed it.
