    What's everyone's favorite retro console?
I'm always looking to buy games for new and old consoles. If you have one, two, or an entire collection to sell send me a PM.

I know I didn't put all the consoles down because there really are a ton of them so I just put down the main ones.

I voted for the N64 because that was the first console I ever owned myself and by far it's the console I put the most hours in on. Lots of good memories.

My second choice would be the Genesis follwed by the NES.

NES all the way. I really cut my teeth gaming on it, followed by the SNES and the N64. Then we got a Playstation...

HOW IS THE PLAYSTATION NOT ON HERE!?!?

At first I thought, Oh, he's going more retro... but the N64 is here...

I would say that my favorite is the sega genesis, playing Mortal Kombat, Road Rash, and Sonic 2 and 3D was what got me into gaming.

But I didn't own a console as a kid, these were systems that I had a chance to play from time to time. the mortal Kombat thing was a weekend when we had my mom's side of the family getting together for christmas. And the house we stayed at had a Sega upstairs... Played Mortal Kombat all weekend.

Then sonic I played whenever I got a chance to hang out at my cousin's house, who lived about 5-6 hours away so it didn't happen often.

And Road Rash was the game my cousin who lived close by got with his sega that I played a whole bunch.

Out of the ones on the list it was a decision between the N64 and Genesis for me, ultimately you can't beat Goldeneye.

I also have great memories of more N64 games but I can't remember the names of most of them.

Got to say, I've got some epic memories of N64 at my uncle's house. Pokemon stadium, mario cart, diddy kong racing etc. Also the gamecube, timesplitters co-op was beyond great.

While I agree all of these are great, the Super Nintendo remains in my heart the greatest game console of all time. I do love the N64, Sega Genesis (I still have that one), and Dreamcast though.

Master System was my childhood console. Probably SNES was the one I played the most though

The N64 because it was the one I remember having the most fun with. There were so many games I love on that console. It's also the first console I ever managed to get soon after it was released. Seeing Super Mario 64 in action for the first time at Wal-Mart was amazing. I knew it was going to be an awesome system. Ocarina of Time is my second favorite game of all time. Blasting friends with koopa shells in Mario Kart 64 or just leaving a proximity mine surprise around all the corners in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark are some of my fondest memories. I love my 360, but nothing truly compares to the joy I had with my N64 in my high school days.
