I say..."Yeah dawg!" Anyway, back to SMRPG. Does anybody else think they should make a sequel on the DS? Or at least a remake on the DS? Even if they just put the game on the DS I would be happy! Just gimme something!

Yeah, I agree. Maybe they're not in good terms with Nintendo? I dunno. Well you could always buy one of those portable SNES that sell for like $300. I read in electronic gaming monthly a few years ago about the guy who makes them.

Sadly, I don't think there will ever be an sequel to Mario RPG. It was made by Rare, who have ended their association with Nintendo and gone over to the Microsoft side. Mario RPG is a great game and a really fun RPG, but Nintendo doesn't have the drive to make this kind of game themselves.

not true, even tho it has a 'rare' look and feel, it was developed by square. it says it rite on startup(DONT YOU REMEMBER?!?! ahh the memories). the mario and luigi games are based off that engine but are alittle shallow compared to the already shallow rpg aspects of this game(most likely becuse they are handheld games). but why wont they team up with square again? hell, it was really weird for them to team up in the first place and with them being owned by a larger company it makes it even more unlikly.

Square? Huh, I could have sworn this was a Rare game. Ah well, it's been a few years since I played it.

Being a Square game makes it even less likely, given Square's fixation on Sony systems since the PlayStation. If only Nintendo and Sony had stayed together on that SNES CD project, the world of gaming would have been a far different place today.

The last I heard, Dragon Quest development is now done by Level 5. Square doesn't have anything to do with it other than ownership now, as far as I know.

Crystal Chronicles isn't a great example of good relations; everything I've heard says it was a sub-par game. It's a big step to go from two exclusive games to a collaboration like SMRPG. If Nintendo hadn't dropped the ball on bringing out a CD system, the relations would be a lot better.

well its still owned by enix so its the same thing reguardless of who develops it. also it doesnt matter the quality of game nintendo has seen more than 3 exclusive square titles but none hace been sub par efforts no matter what the reviewers thought of them(revenant wings being an A+ title with great reviews all around)

Yes. Yes. That would be very awesome.

If it's one game that I'm annoyed many haven't heard about, it's this one. Everything about it just tickles my fancy; the game play, the graphics (well, it was pretty good for it's time, right?), and even the music. Seriously, I'm somewhat surprised more people don't know about Legend of the Seven Stars.
