Who knows this game?
I looking for a game I played at the Blockparty Arcade back in the 90's.
It was a 3 or 4 person game where everybody had a separate booth to sit in. The game was a search and destroy the other players. The first thing you did was select a ship. There were three versions-light armor/fast, medium armor/not as fast, Heavy armor/slow movement. The Weapontry and special ability varied on each ship type as well.
You controled your ship with tank grips-one on each side of the seat. There was the main view forward(which I think could be switched to show the view behind) and a smaller radar view of the entire battlefield. The ship movement was gliding or hovering over the surface of the battlefield.
I believe the Game was time based-you had so much time to kill your opponets before the game stopped and awarded the person with the most kills the winner. Each time you were blown up the game would re-enter you by dropping you from above into the game until the time ran out.
The Game had great sound effects-you really felt the action. It was like a subwoofer or a cannon was mounted under your seat!
Does anybody remember the name of this game or where I might purchase it?
