I remember the power glove. I still have it somewhere in my basement, locked away with the nes. It was the greatest thing to use for playing Mike Tyson's Knockout.

I also had a power glove. It fell apart after a year of use. I think I still have the broken glove somewhere.

This video pretty much wraps up my thoughts on the PowerGlove

powerglove = ****
I have to agree that the power glove was pretty much ****, on the other hand i have to give it to nintendo for at least trying to get something like that to work... but needless to say... they failed. and if you dont believe me then take a look at what The Angry Nintendo Nerd has to say about it. I happen to think he tells it better than anyone can.

It debuted in the Movie "The Wizard" with Fred Savage during his "Wonder Years" and "Little Monsters" featuring Howie Mandel days...All great pieces of entertainment...

"The Wizard" was basically Fred Savage takes this retarded kid that plays video games really well on a cross country trip to the Nintendo Championships (I'm almost certain) in Orlando, FL. Along the way, they pick up a (at the time) hot chick who fred savage gets with, meet the #1 ranked game player(when they meet, they power glove is debuted for the first time) who he faces at the final match and they play Super Mario 3 (also a nintendo debut at the time). And while all of this is going on, they're dodging some petophile who's trying to kidnap the kid and enter him so he gets the prize money.

Just a little bit of nintendo history.

Power Glove
The Power Glove looked kind of cool, but was awful for controlling games.

Bah I'm 19 and with all my medical history, I feel like I'm in my late 30's. Lets just say in the Children's hospital before I turned 18, I was on my second folder.
