The Sega Gamegear. Tag teamed with Wonderkid... or Wonderboy, I forget. But a kick *** combination none the less. Costs you an arm and a leg to run it on batteries though.

Yup, Gamegear for me too. And I agree, batteries were hard to keep around for it.

And rechargable were for the rich people at that time. If they were even around.

my first handheld would have to be a.....GBA? i believe it was. yeah, i was a late bloomer with videogames. =]

The first handheld i ever had was the black and white gameboy, still have it and play it regularly.

First Handheld
Sega Game Gear. It was so much more colorful and bright than the Game Boy. Too bad it didn't last longer.

The first handheld I owned as the original Gameboy. I had it along with Super Mario Land.

Kind of funny - when I first got it I couldn't beat that damn game - now it's just plain easy.
