He said that he could beat it 8 times, not 8 hours. And I'm 80% sure it's statistically impossible you can beat it in 2 hours. I read somewhere it's impossible to beat the game in x amount of hours, I'll try and find a link...

I couldn't stand the Water Temple. Everything about it was gay. The only part I liked was fighting Dark Link. My favorite was the Fire Temple, I zipped through that one real quick. And the boss was pretty fun. I didn't like the Shadow Temple either. The hover boots were a major dissapointment because they only lasted for about a second, I was expecting more.

It takes a normal person at least 2 hours to get the three stones. I think the cut secences all added up are more than 2 hours. I hated the fact that after I beat the game I couldn't save it, that was so annoying. Yea the water temple was the IMO the hardest temple, everytime I played it I forgot how to get the freaking Long hookshot, now that I think of it, I dont remember now either, dam. The desert was freaking fun, I love that mirror shield that was soooooo fun. The most annoying thing about the game was getting my Deku sheild on fire and I had to get a new one, stupid bats.

ff or oot???
i know this argument is quite old but personally i thought that LOZ OOT was a GREAT game for its time but there were other games made around the same time as this that were just as good, if not better than OOT. Well i have played through this game and not too long ago i borrowed final fantasy VII from my brother within hours i was hooked! FF is by far more challenging than zelda and there are more side quests and things to do. In zelda you cant miss getting many items but if you stuff up somewhere in ffVII (EG: getting the levithian scales) then you cant go back. The pro with zelda are that there is a lot more freedom in controlling link the con is that some parts of the game drag on for too long. The pro in FFVII is that the game is longer and cannot be beaten in a short amount of time the con is that battles get frustrating. I think this is why not many people level up their characters to LV 99... So i ask which do you think is better FF or Zelda?

Actually, go pre, they did come out with a limited edition version of oot released for the gamecube this also came with majoras mask and ocarina of time master quest which was more challenging than the original game.
The limited edition version also had slightly better graphics and textures.
