Tetris (NES)
I love playing Tetris, as you can see apart from my sig. I used to play it almost all the time when I went to visit my dad in California, but now I have been playing it on the arcade (Whenever is the arcade going to be reinstated?) And people accuse me of cheating, but I don't. I'm just that good at playing the game, but I have yet to play it againest other people, I hear in the Nintendo DS version of the game the Japanese players are really good at playing the game. I want to get the DS version, but money constraints allow me from not puchasing it. Anyway on the original version I have topeed out at over 600,000+ as my high score and about a level of 25.

Anyway, I'd thought I'd share that

Of course I accused you of cheating. Hell, I even insulted you as a person. What else was I supposed to do when someone took my high score (which I eventually raised to a little over 100,000 before the arcade was dropped) and dominated it like it was nothing . It was never meant to be malicious, I just wanted to make that clear Double Life. It was just my competitive side coming out to say "Hi!"

Back on topic, I loved tetris games simply because it is such a great way to get your mind going while you are having fun....a combo you really don't see in games anymore. I originally got hooked on the one for the orginal gameboy and my interest has not lessened over the years.

I hated the game. Probably because I never took the time to get good at it. It just never sparked an interest in me. But my brother plays it a lot and so does my mother.

Yeah, every GameBoy has had some variation of Tetris.

Pretty cool game though...

NES Tetris
The NES version of Tetris was my favorite. I used to play it for hours and hours.

I hate how that long slender piece just never seems to appear whenever you need it.

You should check out the invisiable tetris youtube video. Its pretty insane. I don't know how in the world that guy is able to place blocks like he does but its really amazing. I think he could very well be considered the best tetris player in the world.

Gosh, I remember being like 8 or 9 and receiving the oG gameboy fat... at first, I was saying "what the heck is this Tetris crap? No Mario?"

That game was my obsession till i was about 10... that game was the prototype addictive puzzle game.
