Not really. They are both advanced in seperate categories as an overall group. Ninjas have stealth and quickness, Samurai have intimidation, dedication, and sword fighting.

It's simple, Samurai's are warriors and Ninja's are assassins. I liked Shinobi, but I know that's not what you're looking for.

Agh Shinobi was such a great game...Back on topic i liked Onimushu alot, and Tenchu...I've never played Way of the samurai but ive heard good things about it. I'll have to give it a go.

But I have Tenchu Z on my gamefly list for 360, there has been some hype about it.

Tenchu 1 & 2 are probably the closest thing you could find. Though there's zombies and sh*t in them. I loved those games.
A realistic, stealth & shadows ninja game would be the bomb. It would just be a series of progressively difficult and elaborate assassination assignments. No hocus pocus stuff, just total ninjadom. With scalable and interactive environments like Assassins Creed.

Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden: Black that came out on the Original XboX wrere some of the best games to be released on that console. Graphics and Gameplay were gorgeous.
I'll be picking up Ninja Gaiden: Sigma when it comes out for the PS3.

Eww, that game sucks. It wasn't bad back in the day but i bought it on VC a few months back and got bored within minutes. I don't mind ninja spirit for the turbo grafix-16 though ;)
