I'm currently trying to beat Emerald Weapon. I've foughten him like 5 times and I've calculated (to prove this guy is insane) how much damage I've done to him. And I've still haven't beaten him. Well here you guys go.

Ok first off I kind of cheated, I worked with my Materia slots and I was smart enough with Potions-Hi Potions-HP<<>>MP Materia and all that. To get my life to 7777!! When you have 7777 you start the fight off with 62 constant attacks against Emerald, that do what? 7777 damage each time. And the great thing is, you attack him constantly so for about 2 straight minutes you get to watch your character attack while preparing your next strategic move.

So here comes the math part of the deal.

7777*62 (Yes I've counted) = 482174 life. Now to get my point across. I could kill 9 Bizarro Sephiroths with this before he could even attack.

Oh I'm not done. I worked my butt off, and I got myself the W-Summon Materia from the Battle Arena, and what summon to chose for it? Why not the strongest summon in the game. Knights of the Round. Yes, I got the impossible. It took me a cummulative 9 hours to get myself a Gold Chocobo and I got it. So what does the Knights of the Round do? It attacks 13 times. Dealing around 6500 life each hit. W-Summon allows you to caste it twice. So lets do some MORE math.

13 * 2 * 6500 = 169000 life. So right now we got a total of 651174 life!

Oh, but with the rare Chocobos, you get yourself other Materia such as Quadra Magic, HP<<>>MP, but MOST importantly, the MIME!! materia. Which copies the last command that was taken before. What command did I use last? You've got it, Knights of the Round-W-Summon. So lets do MORE math

13 * 2 * 6500 = 169000 life. So to add on to this monstrous amount of damage = 820174 Life!!

Oh, you'd think I'd be done, but I'm not. Whats the strongest Limit Break in the game? You've got it. Omnislash. An attack (if combined with Ultima Weapon) does about 7000 life each swing. So lets add again.

15 * 7000 = 105000. So we add again. 925174 Life!!

Now thats just all the calculated damage I've done. But my characters are almost maxed out so I have 4x-Cut with Cloud. Which does no less than 9999 damage each swing? So thats at least 40000 more thousand each time he decides to hack at Emerald. I can get this far, but then Emerald Weapon likes to do the IMPOSSIBLE, it likes to attack, not 1, not 2, not even 3. It likes to attack 9 times in a row. 8 times with the HP/MP drainer attacks, and it likes to use Emerald Beam. So yeah, its impossible.

Emerald has one million HP. So if I've done my math correctly, that leaves him with roughly 74,826 HP left after all of that damage you have done to him. It takes more of luck rather than power to beat this Weapon because of the damage limit (which is stupid) but you're pretty close to it.

I just read a strategy on how to beat him. And I think I can do it. But first I need to master one more mime ( I've got two now ) and 2 more HP Absorbs. I can beat Ruby Weapon, but I keep messing up. Today I will most likely beat Ruby Weapon so I can master those two Materia. (He gives you 50,000 AP for winning. And I have the Apocolypse Sword on right now so giving me 150,000 AP. Which masters both easily. And once I do that. (I lost my 7777 due to training other characters) I took my PHS once I got Cid to 7777 and got other characters to master the Mime Materia. But I grew too many levels training with Tifa, Red X[III] and Cloud. Because characters grow levels outside of battle too. I totally forgot about that. So I'll have to do the process of getting someone 7777 again. But it shouldn't take long since I've developed a strategy to do that too. What I'll do is kill off every enemy except one. Then Minimize my whole team. If your minimized, you'll only do 1 damage. Then I'll manipulate the other monster so it won't ruin it. Then I'll basically attack my own character until I get his last two digits "xx77" then I'll go buy some potions and hi-potions to heal him up to 7777 to start the process all over again. Then I'll stick Knights of the Round <> HP Absorb so it will negate the need to heal my characters. It heals for about 15,000 ++ life. Then W-Summon it. Then Mime it to death. Then I will win. But hopefully he doesn't use Aire Tam Storm on me. Or its all over just, unless my characters are at top notch health. If I beat either WEAPON, I'll post back and describe the jumping around part.

BTW, mob, have you ever beaten either WEAPON?

I haven't beaten either weapon but that hasen't stopped me from at least trying. I never put enough time into training my characters up to that high of a level and mastering certain materia in order to stand a chance and I gave up on the golden chocabo after a few hours cause I was starting to get pissed off at it.

I have officially, BEATEN THEM BOTH.

Earth Harp gives you Master Command, Master Magic, and Master Summon

Desert Rose gives you Gold Chocobo.

I mated my two Gold Chocobos that I had and I now have 3 total

Oh and if you want an estimate on life.

Emerald has 1,000,000

Ruby has 800,000.

If you want to beat Emerald. I'll tell you the five things you need.

You need Knights of the Round.

You need W-Summon.

You need 2(3 helps but is NOT necessary) Mimes.

HP Absorb Materia

And you need a whole lotta luck.

If you want to be Ruby.

You need Knights of the Round.

You need Quadra Magic.

You need W-Summon.

You need Mime.

HP Absorb Materia.

And some luck to go with that. And it helps to have the Ziedric armor (You have to steal it from Rude in the crashed Gelinka or in the Return to Midgar)

If you have these items, I'll give you the strategy, but if you don't, don't waste my time

I now have completed the game entirely. I've got the Gold Chocobos. I've got every Materia. I've got all the Ultimate Weapons. I've got all their Limit Breaks. I've beaten the two so called "impossible" WEAPONS.

But there is one thing missing. I've never beaten Sephiroth

I'll beat him tonight. I wanna play Socom now.

Then I'll watch Final Fantasy: Advent Children. Then I'll feel satisfied with the FF7 series.

Well, after the weapons Sephiroth will seem like trying to fight a level 2 SOLDIER enemy at your level. I dominated Sephiroth with characters at high 60's and low 70's levels.

Cloud was my complete powerhouse with hit all dealing 9,999 damage to every part of Sephiroth everytime, Vincint was my healer/magic user, and Cid was a power house with double-cut dealing 9,999 damage twice to one part of Sephiroth and when Sephiroth shields up, I would summon the top sh*t. (other than the Knights)

Nothing comparable to what you went up against the weapons with but I also didn't work my guys levels up that high. I just played through the game and fought Sephiroth when I got to him, I didn't jerk around.

I casted Knights of the Round 3 times. Once on Jenova, once on Bizarro Sephiroth, once on Safer Sephiroth. It was pretty easy.

I know I was alittle disappointed with the last battle because Ruby and Emerald Weapon were infinitely harder than Sepiroth. It took me one try to defeat Sephiroth and a long a** time to defeat the Weapons. I thought FFVII was the best of the series and kind of hated FFIX because they completely changed the attacks and did away with the materia. I got so familiar with the attacks, characters, and style that I didn't feel like trying to familiarize myself with the new crap. I haven't played it in a long time but I'm pretty sure they had a final attack materia that allowed you to do one final action before you died. One of the things you could equip if the weapon had an adjoining slot is revive, so that could help you if you're having trouble with the Weapons. I thought Advent Children was alright, it could have been better. I think they did a good job with Vincents character on the movie, he was a bad a**. I think I'm probably going to play the game again. Which animation do you like for the Summon Monsters? I kind of like Bahamut Zero and of course, Odin (I didn't name myself that because of the game but from Norse mythology). I recently read some background into the game and found it interesting how in depth they went into some things such as the background/meaning of the names of the characters, weapons, etc. and how every aspect fit the charcter and story line. Check out the origins section on this site => http://www.tao.cx/tos/
I saw another one that included other characters and weapons but forgot where it was, I'll post it if I find it.

Sephiroth was easy. It tooks me around 10mins to beat him. Did anyone got the 4th Limit of Vincent? I tried to get in the waterfall but it doesn't work (with the submarine).
