Updates

Hello all, I was just wandering how many total updates their has been for Socom2 since it came out. I am attempting to play it because im tires of S3. I am currently on my 6th update. Now this seems way too many becuase last time i played i had to only update twice but that was like 1 and a half years ago. So if someone can tell me the total number of updates that would be great so i dont have to worry about it being my memory card or what but i dont think it is my memory card cause there isnt any errors int he downloading process. So any number that u beleive is very accurate ont he updates would be greatly appreciated.

I've had the same problem. Me and my brother both went back to S2 after a long time of not playing it. I know on his system he got up to 10 updates and then shut the damn thing off, I stopped trying to download them after that. How many friggin updates are there??? It's making it a real pain because I miss playing the ole sniper boundary in Vigilance and of coarse Frostfire. What is going on here?

I dunno, I also went back after a long absence, and I don't remember downloading a whole bunch of updates. There should only be 1.

Well trust, I myself stopped after the 6th update. Although that really doesn't help or answer the question. So again, does anyone really know whats going on on S2? Myself and others would really like to be able to get on the servers again and not spend 3 hours downloading updates.

Finally got it to work. The way to solve it zagor is to whipe everything clean on your mem card and start fresh. Wasted almost an hour, but back on S2.

I did originally but I ended up having blocks filled with corrupt data. In the end just cleaning out the card and resetting my adapter got me back on. First game I went into after over a year away, on US East had one of the those code 9 cheaters or whatever they call it. Unreal, ruined a good frostfire game. Oh well, its good to be back. Most I've seen online is little over 3000
