I play it all the time. It's still addicting and always fun to play. Yes you'll find Code-9'ers in places, but if you asked them politely to leave, they usually do.
I've been an avid Socom 2'er since 03', when it first released, online.lol, not that it has anything 2 do with anything, but yea anyway I still play it 2 this day, and I'm in the lobby right now, and the games you'll find are still great, just not as many 8vs8 rooms as there used 2 be...and glitchers and code 9'ers, you won't find them enuff 2 prevent you from getting mad at, you leave, go into another server, your good.
Since SOCOM 3's release, people have found a way to get Code 9 onto NA, but most of the people rank up using it, because before S3, an average r^ room took 20 seconds, now they can do 1 second or 0 second rooms.

That's a funny joke.

Socom 2 is still amazing. I recently began playing again cuz i missed it, and i lagged way too much in MGS. I miss socom 3, but i sold it, and for 17... Grr... But yeah, the game is plagued by Code 9ers and alleged Code 9ers..(AKA little kids who think there tough!) "Yah.. i got code nine, but i dont use it." They are basically filled with half-tards from time to time, but still worth playing.
