help me plz!

Ok Lag went away. so thanks anyway. if anyone has general tips on lowering low (i dont think there is a way) let me know. otherwise its going smoothly now

i play socom2 on the oceania server (australia+new zealand). anyway i live in NZ. recently i am experiencing tremendous amounts of lag. i constantly find players walking on the spot and teleporting 20metres three seconds later. its basically impossible to play like this, and i have been voted off for this reason. since S3 came out, nearly all the new zealand players left S2 and now the S2 rooms are basically filled with australian. i think the reason for this lag maybe the fact that the host is about 1250-2500 miles away from my house so it will obviously increase my ping. my lag has increased sharply over the last 2 weeks. b4 it was all good. socom 3 came out in april over here this year

none of the other players are experiencing any problems like me. i think this maybe due to the fact that theyre all far closer to the host than me.

1) is there anyway at all i can reduce my lag. i dont dload anything/have my pc on. i dont use wireless. i did a packet loss test and i have 0% loss.

2) is socom 3 far less laggy? i read about some people in the US having the same problems with s2 (teleporting) but once they purchased S3 it all went away.

I don't live in Oceanie, but I can tell the host must have a bad connection, from what you can tell.

1. Nope, I don't think so.

2. I never heard of it, there's not much lag in the US.

its not the host, its me. all the australians are getting normal ping. i think im getting lots of lag because new zealand is 2000miles from australia. the other players said there is a problem with my connection. it started lagging hard about 3 weeks ago. if i cant do anything i guess my best chance is S3. damnit 2 was so awesome ><. i will rent S3 to see if its any better.
