vet needs help

ive played s2 for about a year and a half or 2 years, i know thats not much compared to most of you but i have a problem, i had stopped playing s2 and i just started to try and play it again, but everytime i try to connect it takes like in hour in the first stage then a window pops up and says some complicated mumbo jumbo... and before this happens usually the first try it says the cable is disconnected. help would be awsome

when i played s2, like 2 months before socom 3 came out, this would happen to me all the time, i think its cause they just dont care about the socom 2 server anymore (doubt they did in the first place anyway...)

couldnt be that cause it was workin at my dads house... and to be more specific it says failure or timeout or sumtin
