this same thing has happened to me... all i had to do was buy a new network adapter.

lol i cant buy a new modem or w/e lol plus my parents say its working good enough for them and that i dont need to play socom....so anymore ideas? lol so im being difficult

not your cable modem..... do you know that black box that you plug your ethernet cord into on the back of your ps2. you have to replace that box. they dont make them any more so you will have to goto some used game store or goto ebay.com and buy one.

Well i dont have that PS2 i have the newer PS2, the really small one, so what should i do for that!?

I have also had this problem. For me the solution was turning off my modem for a good 5 minutes, then turning it back on and logging in.

dude i so did already except i left it off for 45 min or so.....seriously i have no idea whats wrong but its really ticking me off!

I would buy a new one since they are only like 10 dollars for a really long one.
