download error: timeout during download(30)

Ok for some reason my friend cant download the Socom II patch...It keeps giving him this error "download error: timeout during download(30)".
I told him to do the following, but none of these worked:
-Restart router, modem.
-New network configuration.
-Double check that that there is 3mb of space on the memory card.

He can get on Socom 3 easly and download any patches from there, but Socom II is a problem. Any suggestions?

well i the only thing i can think of man is that his internet is not going fast enough and is not allowing him to download it fully. i got back on yesterday and had redownload cause i lot my file and it did it fine.
