100% agreed, I got S3, played it for 2 months, did the GB, stayed with my S1 clan, and HATED IT, now full-time on S2, new clan, no rank--as of when this message was posted-- and love playing it, ronds dont take HOURS, not many FULL GAME CAMPERS and overall, the weapons are BETTER, yes S3 has some cool guns, but I find that an M16 is all I need to kill somebody, not an Iw-80A2 with some Mid-scope and front grip on it SKILL=S2, Camping Abilities=S3, Fantastic Originality/Best gameplay=S1

i personally dont have S3 but i dont like the idea of way bigger maps. wudnt the snipers always win? and i dont like the idea of vehicles, i mean a assault soldier with no rocket/grenade launcher will get owned by a humvee machine gunner. i guess the team cud have two or three anti vehicle specialists but i just dont like the idea. the S2 maps are classic... frostfire respawn, Xroads, desert glory, night stalker...

I Havnt Played s2 But From what iv been seeing on this topic that s2 is better in more wways than one but s3 is good im a lieutenant and i may be think of buying s2 i farely think s1 was a great game and s1 is betteri some ways then s3 so i would say s2<s3>s1. im my view the only good thing about s3 is the attachables like the pistol grips and stuff like that

I miss socom 2 so much, it's was the funniest game ever, where me and my friend laughed for hours and everything.

I don't know, there's something about socom 2 that makes it so addictive. Socom 3 just can't compare. It's still a very good game IMO, but not quite like s2.

I'll agree with that, i mean don't get me wrong Socom 3 is amazing, but Socom 2 had something that made me spend hours on it, i would go on every night and just play it until 12.00, every single time i could get on i would, however now i could easily skip a couple of days at a time just because it doesn't get my glued to it like Socom 2 did.

Tell Me Is S2 like way better than s3 or is it like s1 infested with glitchers and cheaters. what are the ups and downs of s2 because i may be thinking of buying a copy and starting to play that instead of s3 because s3 is boring rounds take to long and you can tie rounds. so if you can reply to this please do Thank You

i still dont get it. how do ppl cheat and how do u know if they are cheating. i mean its easy to tell on fps games when u can see what theyre aiming at but in third person its hard to tell. do cheaters put files on their mem cards?
