I've only played socom 3 online and i'm wondering if i should play socom 2 online even though most people play this game. Is it worth it & do a good amount of people play socom 2 online?

well there are about 4000 ppl who play daily...if you get bored of s3 then s2 is the next best thing.

SOCOM 2 is really fun if you like the instant action. Considering how cheap the copies of SOCOM 2 run these days, it's worth it.

The average amount of people online is right around the 2000-5000 range.

I would just take the time to learn Socom 3
Socom 2 is old hat and their are going to be releasing map packs of some of the classic maps soon. If you still feel a fire in the loins to play Socom 2 after that , it's a Playstation Classic now and its only $20 clams or a $5 renter
But, the snow maps in Socom 2 are fun and sorely lacking in Socom 3.

its a pretty fun game but it is alot different vs. socom 3....

The movement is slower.. its alot glitcher.. and the guns shoot way slower...
But im used to it cuz i used to be die hard socom 2

Well, if you havent played it before you're going to have to download about 15 updates, which takes like 45 minutes.

It only takes 1 update. And yes it's definately worth 20 bucks if your going to be playing online. I would still be playing it maybe once a week if for some reason If I didn't lag out of every single room. Or maybe you could just rent it so you could experience some of the best maps everrrrrrrrrr.

If you ever get bored of S3 you should get S2 and try it out. It's the next best thing and it always has a decent number of people playing.

Socom 2 is laggy, everytime i play it, it is twice as laggy as S3. Thats my only complaint.
