Yellow and red dots?

Well...My game has seriously been lagging extremely..I can not tell if it's my game or the server...But Sometimes it will get so bad it take two or three minutes to get inbetween rounds and then when it finally loads, A HUGE circle covers my screen with a large yellow square or red dot...And the headset Icon disappears along with my health, gun icon, grenade icon, and and anything else in my inventory...Just no crosshairs and when I shoot the huge circle violently goes up and I can't tell what I'm shooting and shortly after I get disconnected...Not only this but the audio lags, Like when you kill someone it takes like freakin' 5 minutes for my guy to go "Enemy Down" or "Fire in the hole" when throwing a grenade...It's making me sick of socom...Help me please? :(

This happend to my friend. It stopped when the patch realeased. So im not sure about this. Just unplug the computers internet connection before playing, It might be better

I also have the same problem quite often. Someoine here said to try to clean the disk and the system. I tried both but it still occurs occasionaly. I happen to have the old fat PS2, might have something to do with it, not sure though.
Funny, I canplay SOCOM II and my son can play Star Wars Battlefront without any problems, but when I play Socom 3 I'm getting all kinds of problems including the mike not working deal. I'm down to playing Socom 3 once a week because all it does is get me irritated, after playing a few rounds i just unplug the system and go to something else.

(for the bold part)....wait. are we talking about socom 3 or 2, because we're in the '2' section. In s2 it doesnt say enemy down. And by the way, i've NEVER seen or heard of the big red dot problem in socom 2. Only in socom 3 has it happened to me. It's not you're fault. It's the servers. Everybody gets this glitch once in a while.

Im having some problems with this as well... First of all every time i get on now i cant get into any room because of the stupid rank restrictions. Second of all every thing has been laggy as hell. What to do? Dont no.
