All you need to do is set up your router somewhere near you computer, then run the cable to your PS2. If I remember correctly the slim PS2's have network adaptors built into them, so you dont have to worry about that. I dont have a wireless router so someone else will have to explain how to set it up if thats what you have.
Your wireless router should have extension ports where you could run the wire from the router into the ps2, or you could get a wireless game adapter which looks like a wirless router and plugs into the ps2 and feeds off the wirless router. Not sure if that helps
