Lag with the AK family

Is it just me or do people die like 3 seconds after you've actually killed them with the AK-47 or AK-74 (don't know so much about the 105). This has happend to me on numerous occasions during close quarters combat. I would get a certain headshot, but then the other guy would be able to get about 5 rounds off before eventually falling, killing me in the process. I find that I only have this problem with the AK.

Anyone with similar experiences?

Same with an M60 yesterday, think its just socom2. Ive found it to be "lesser quality" since socom 3 came out. Dont know if this is true, but theres has been alot of lag with less than 3000 people.

And you'd think that it'd be the complete opposite... lol
