In game text messaging

Is there anyway to text message someone in a game via keyboard. I've tried and nothing seems to work.

Yes, but you can not if there are alt letters in the persons name.

You can message to people with the alternate letters in their name. You MUST know the alt codes for your keyboard.

well when i press and hold the alt button and use an alt code it does not work for SOCOM

As far as I know, alt cods don't work for Socom. That's what I've been told, and they've never worked for me when I tried them.

you can probably google the alts for the keyboard, but Im not sure if they work in game
