Theres the reason, nobody had any kills on any of their old captain names, so you were easily able to become a captain. It happened to me that day too, but I have since then dropped back down to cookie from laziness lol.

My bonus objectives also got reset... I had over a thousand and the next day I see and it says 10... I was like wtf. Ask my clan if they see that, and they couldnt even believe it.... All that hard work for nothing.

Well i could believe this because every ones rank was about the same so you can easily gain rank or lose it that day.

I'm joining a room captians every where. Chaos Distruction and Dispair everywhere i go. 6-0 easy win i had 15-5 not to shabby i might say. but socom rank didn't agree with me i lost 50 points. i'm captain for anyone ho's interested.

Conclusion socom only lets you go up when IT likes you. Socom my friend likes you don't taunt it. I once said it was a suckass game and one of those sony spies must have heard me. (generaly rank is weird)
