has it ever occured to you people that if the M16 was full auto, it WOULDNT be accurate? The burst is the only reason it's like that. If you use ANY gun on burst it'll be that accurate. The reason it's just as accurate with the fullauto glitch, (i've never done or tried, BTW) is because the designers didnt program it to have any kickback, BECAUSE it was supposed to be burst.

yes, like spookius said the M16 is so accurate in S2 because of the burst fire-rate. The reason other weapons arent as "accurate" are because they are used on full-auto.
Weapons like the AK-105 and M4A1SD can put ppl down very fast when fired in burst.
I remember firing the M4A1SD on burst during my first few Socom 2 games and didnt know what all the hubub was about ppl not dropping like in Socom 1. Then I switched to full auto and thats when I realized what ppl were talking about.
In fact contrary to popular believe you do not have more "health" the recoil was just increased alot more.
Bottomline: All weapons can be accurate just shoot them on burst

The M4A1 ~= M16A4

In fact I think a M4 is just like a M16A2(burst only) except different barrel, stock and so on.
Also the M4A1 has RIS while the M16A3 and M16A4 have a Picatinny rail (Are they different?)

Thanks for such amazing insight there spanky. No wonder you are friends with Spenser, idiots roll together.
Recoil is cut odwn because of burst, if you don't believe it, use a 552sd on burst, it goes from annoying recoil, to a very good Terrorist gun.

Okay, let me break it down, back in the fifties, a guy name EUGENE STONER created what we civilians call, the AR-15. Now he tried to market that to the ARMY, but they weren't impressed. They made modifications and came out with the M-16A1, the MATTEL toy company made the plastic casing of the gun itself. Now they used that in Vietnam back in the sixties, but most of the soldiers said it was crap and many rather used the MIKHAIL KALASHNIKOV AK-47. The M16A1 was always jamming and clogging up from simple blades of grass and grains of dirt. Now in modern day, the M16A2 kicks Arab *** in the desert. Much improved, due to the relenquishing of the full auto feature, the m16's range and accuracy is great enough to be a primary weapon of the USMC (OOH-RAH!).
SOCOM WORLD BEST GUN= M16A2!

Your all forgetting the M16 full auto would be the most innacurate gun in the game, making it an M4A1.
