Alright, so ive played at beaten socom one and two countless times but ive always looked into the multiplayer. From reading a bunch of posts it sounds amazing. so i know id need an adapter to play online(socom2,3).
But would the speed of my computer affect the gameplay at all or would it just be on how fast my internet is?

It's your internet connection, any kind of broadband would work but I suggest cable and better, cause DSL is kinda iffy.

It depends on your connection. I use a router & DSL, the speed is good. So if you're a host, you need a good speed.

T3 is like $1000 a month. T1 and T3 are used for buisnesses, man. He is better off getting a cable connection.

IM experiencing no lag using an adsl modem. i have a 1mbps plan, this is fast in New zealand. i dont know why but i have only lagged once, or at least i onkyt felt it once and that was when my brother was on counter strike at the same time. But becuz u americans seem to lag hardcore get cable?? btw we only have about 150 people online at the max on the australian/nz servers. so that might be it. Answerign ur question: u probabaly need to have ur computer good enough to run broadband (pretty low specs) and as long as it runs it, ur computer shudnt have anything to do with it.

well how do we know he doesn't have many computers running, but T1 would be the best if you can get that. otherwise use what they are saying.
