oh yea... are you talking about have a m4A1 on your back and then a m4A1 sd with u to cuz thats stupid but if u mean like have a ra14 and then like a m4A1 sd that makes more sense not just 2 same guns

1. The HK5SD is not very good at long range at all
2. Why would it not be a good idea to have a SD and a non SD M4A1? The SD would be great to stay in a corner and just shoot them with out being seen. But when some one is right in front of u and the M4A1 SD is not strong enough[because the silence makes it alot less powerfull] the M4A1 would be better
