i think RPG's are horrible, if you cant kill someone with a regular gun, such as a sniper rifle or what not, then u should not be playing that game. make it a challenge for yourself. i barely use nades, even in DG when all people do is throw them, and i do just fine. if u have to resort to some high speed grenade to kill one person, u should not play the game.

The bottom line is this:

Socom 2 has been out for 1 year and 10 months. During that time period, people have grown to hate the 79s, 203s etc. If they were fair, as every new poster that joined in the last 2 months believes, wouldn't everyones opinions shift over the course of almost 2 years? Of course it would have. The fact that most players hate these guns and don't use them is evidence enough.

Now that I've made my point, I'm going to make another one - Do you really think that after all this time, your going to change the opinion of the Socom 2 majority? No.

The simple fact is that the real complainers are the new guys who want to actually use these noobie tubes. Their the only ones whining and posting about it on here, and for the majority, they are the ones who attempt to use them online. Most players are fine with not using them, know they are unfair, and don't even worry or think about it. I recommend everyone else do the same. Just pretend they don't exist.

i prefer m203's but u like get voted off most of the time when u use them but never for using an at4/rpg. rocket launchers are quite useless in socom, u have to stay still, only one shot but with an m203 u can fire like 12 or something while moving. I love close range fighting with the m203, jsut aim at their feet and send them sky high. Rpgs dont have a huge use in s2 cuz theres no vehicles online but shud be good in S3

What i mainly hate is when you are about to get into a closerange firefight with someone and then you get blown away by his M203. Not to be complaining or anything but id rather get taken down by his bullets.

as of this post, i have already visited the frontlines of SOCOM 3 online, and might i say that there is a use for every weapon. AT4s and RPG7s help, and i also notice there hasn't been any whiners about the weapons (thank to F*** God!). When I play SOCOM, I fight to win. Not go easy.

Im sick of everyone complaining about the Iw because even though it has almost no recoil it is not as powerful as the M16 or M14. I would consider the M14 more newbish than the IW. As for the launchers go I dont give a damn.

well they can just get over it cuz in socom 3 no one really cares about wut you use everybody doesnt take it that seriously and if you do guess wut NO ONE CARES SO GO CRYIN SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
