I prefer the logitech headset that has the volume and mute control. It is also snugg and doesnt fall off.

Actully all the sony headsets suck, they break to easy. So i say all of the mics out there suck. I hope they make a new better and longer lasting one

i have the socom 2 headset it has ear upgrades it has three earpieces.i use to have the logitech usb and it broke so i reccomend the socom-2 mic

The Sony headset, is like $25- it has the mute and volume button.
I have this one and the S1 headset, which still works good.

I have that Logitech headset with the mute and volume control, it works pretty nice, it seems really durable so far.

i have had a logitech for over a year and it hasnt broken yet. the only flaws are:

the cord is too long.
the mute button is useless.
$35.

i personally think they should make a wireless one.
