How To Get Online with DSL Modem & No Router

I have found that me trying to log on with a User Name and Password it wont allow me to. So I have done the no password and username requirement and it works fine.

Also for those not sure how to get your DSL to work without a Router. Just keep the Cat 5 cable in the DSL box and connect it to your adaptor on the PS2.

As well if you go to connect at the DNAS screen and it doesnt load and says Network Disconnected just sit back a moment. It will load for you after a few seconds.

OK I cannot get online no more it said I had 2 configurations and such and now my bro deleted my old configuration ( thats the one that used to work then suddenly didnt) I made a new one but it keeps saying eithetr has no configuration or timeouts and errors apperar..

ive used dsl once and it worked just like my charter, i didnt need a password or none of that junk. I beleive it was sbc...
so i think it may depend on your provider

I'm stuck on getting it set up.

I dont do it straight from my modem i use a router.And i dont know how to do it.I dont know how to make an account any help?
