isnt dsl 256k? (sorry if im wrong but...) i thought socom needs aleast 1mb/s? now long island has optimum, which is about 10mb/s. with 4 ps2's on it we start to lag. thats 2.5mb/s apiece. how can you play on dsl? doesnt it lag horribly? im not flaming im just asking because i thought dsl was like 1 step away from dialup.

Wireless...I have a Linksys WireLess B Router...I can connect through the router fine but I want to know If I can use my laptop instead of having this long ethernet wire going to my room to the cpu room.

hey this worked for me too but i keep getting the error -612 fix your network configurations and stuff i keep fiddling with it but nothin happens

How do you connect to SOCOM without a computer.. without a router.. just the modem?

Yes you know how you have the Ethernet cord that plugs into your router from your modem? well just plug that cord into your PS2 instead it also helps for a faster connection

Thanks Pink Floyd because I would have spent the cash and all of the above... Even though I am new I still want to check out the online gamming... Who knows it may make me better at a quicker rate.
